Winter 2013 - Following the open house in October, we developed a Virtual Open House for those who could not attend in-person. From this effort, we gained 200 responses and many more valuable comments that we will use to refine and strengthen the program and infrastructure recommendations that will be part of the final master plan. Thank you again for your help.

Fall 2013 Thank you to all who attended the second open house of the Salt Lake City Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan Update. One of our favorite comments from the night was, "I can really see how this could turn into a biking and walking network that transforms this city into the best bicycling city in the country."

For those who could not attend the Open House, we have put all of the materials from each station in a Virtual Open House for you to view, download, and on which you can provide comments. Please visit the Virtual Open House and give us your feedback. It will be open through December 1st.

We thank you all for your help. Your feedback has been very helpful. It has been nice to meet many of you and also continue some conversations from the last open house.

Fall 2013 - The second public workshop will take place on October 23rd from 5:00 to 7:30 pm at the Salt Lake City Public Library Main branch, 4th floor. We look forward to your attendance and contribution to the Master Plan update. The second open house will be held after master plan recommendations are developed and the purpose of the event will be to present and obtain feedback from the public regarding these recommendations.

Summer 2013 - The Transportation Division wants your suggestions and input! You can take our online survey right now. The survey ends on August 12th, so be sure to take it and pass it along for others to provide their input before that date. After the survey ends, comments may still be made via our "Give Your Input" page.

We're also taking the Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan Update on the road throughout the summer - look for our booth at festivals and events such as the Bike Bonanza, Road Respect festival, the Utah Arts Festival, the Downtown Farmers Market (selected Saturdays), the People's Market (selected Sundays), the Twilight Concert Series (selected dates), the Tour of Utah Circuit Race (August 9), and other festivals and events throughout the summer. We've already enjoyed connecting with hundreds of people at events throughout the city and we look forward to talking with you.

Spring 2013 - The first open house for the Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan Update was held in the Downtown City Library on April 11, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Nearly 100 people attended to give their input on the future of walking and bicycling in Salt Lake City. More information (including a downloadable copy of the display boards used at the open house) can be found at the "Give Your Input" link at the right of this page.

Winter 2012 / 2013 - Salt Lake City has designated 2013 as "Year of the Bike" to recognize and promote the many bicycle events, programs, and infrastructure projects happening in the Salt Lake region in the coming year.
